About the Event

Osceola Arts' Art in Public Places at the Buenaventura Lakes Library presents works created by Judith Ann Arnold, a Florida-based artist. Her practice includes many mediums with her glass sculptures having been shown online and in person in Florida and Tennessee. She studied art at Saint Petersburg College in 1996, and 3D graphic design later in 2022, after having been in the U.S. Army. She also holds an MBA completed in 2020. Arnold began painting in 2002, using several laters of paint which took many weeks of effort. She continues producing various art types with mixed media and supports creative culture. The theme of her art envelopes overcoming struggles and empowerment through resilience. Her work reflects her positive attitude, love of learning, dreams & passion.

“In a world full of strife and suffering, these works explore the softer side of my vulnerability as we move past the holiday season. Letting go of chaotic thoughts and patterns is difficult, but vital to enter the next level. Through reflection, peace can be found as lessons are learned. We all die, yet living each day with purpose and serene intentions is valuable beyond superficial trivial wants. Each moment is a precious gift since time is the most valued part of life.

Please take a moment to ponder each artwork, breathe in and out intentionally, and reflect on the feelings they invoke within. Each artwork was hand-made with care.”
